Executive Director

Amy's journey in early childhood education began at the age of 19. Starting as a preschool teacher, she quickly became Assistant Director in 2010. Amy joined Brookland Learning Center a few years later and has led the team as the Director since 2013. Under her leadership, the center has earned the prestigious "Best Childcare Center in Hunt County" title for several years. With a non-expiring Director's License, Amy is passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time at the lake, and attending jet boat races with her husband and two children.

Kellie Rivera

Kellie Rivera

Education Director

Kellie has been a dedicated member of the Brookland Learning Center team for over 12 years. She has worked with various age groups, including the 2-year-old, 3-year-old, and schooler classrooms, and has served as the Education Director since 2016. Kellie also supports the administrative team in the office.

Kellie is a proud graduate of Royse City High School. After initially working in childcare for five years, she explored a successful career in retail, culminating as a Store Manager at Ross. Her passion for early childhood education eventually brought her back to Brookland, where she continues to make a positive impact.

Outside of work, Kellie loves spending time with her family, watching her three wonderful grandchildren—Liam, Lily, and Cason—and baking delicious cakes. She and her husband of five years enjoy family time with their two stepdaughters and grandchildren, creating cherished memories together.

Kristie Boulware

Kristie Boulware

Program Coordinator

Kristie was originally from Hershey, Pennsylvania—affectionately known as Chocolate Town, USA—and moved to Texas in 2006. She has over 15 years of experience in early childhood education, having served in various roles, including toddler teacher and office assistant. Known for her warm, approachable nature and exceptional organizational skills, Kristie is an integral part of the Brookland Learning Center team. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors tending to her flower beds and chickens, traveling back to Pennsylvania to visit family, and hosting cookouts where she introduces her Texas family to Pennsylvania Dutch treats and northern cuisine. Kristie and her husband have been married for 17 years, and they cherish time spent with their two daughters, two bonus daughters, and two beautiful grandchildren.
